Recycled Vegetable Oil?!

That's right! Our main ingredient is recycled cooking oil from Colorado restaurants, combined with sodium hydroxide, H2Snow, pure essential oils, and natural herbs.  The saponified result is our excellent soap!  Our sister company, Summit Greasecycling, began making soap over four years ago as a fundraising effort to support their biofeuls program.

Finally in 2010, Summit Soap was founded to make the purified resource into fuel for a dedicated high quality soap company!  Thorough filtration of the oil and heating to sterilize, followed by the saponification process makes our soap completely safe.  Our method follows the most traditional of soap-making processes, and our result is an incredibly gentle all natural product.  We are proud to share this local resource with our local community and YOU!
